How to use Untangle

• Phase 1 — The Situation: Name the conflict and add the people or groups involved (at least 2).
• Phase 2 — Perspectives: For each person, describe what they want and how they might feel misunderstood.
• Phase 3 — Relationships: Tap two people to connect them. Choose the relationship type (Cooperation, Tension, or Conflict) and optionally set a power direction.
• Final Map: View the complete relationship map, read each stakeholder's perspective, and use the Debrief questions for reflection.

Language Supports

Turn on Language Supports in Settings (⚙) to enable sentence frames, a vocabulary word bank, and debrief starters — designed for L2 learners in dual-language classrooms.

Saving your map

On the final map screen, tap Save Map as Image to export a PNG of your relationship map to your photo library or share sheet.
